My work has always been deeply rooted in self-driven passion. After falling in love with Sailor Moon at the ripe ol' age of nine, I started teaching myself how to draw. By the time I reached high school, I taught myself how to use Photoshop and practiced by offering (book, fanfiction, and movie) poster commissions. Art became a safe space that allowed me to express more than words can convey. I use it as a means to explore many issues, ranging from productivity to trauma.
Although I specialized in editorial and print design during the course of my education, I intentionally chose to approach opportunities that further expand my skillset. Graduating with minimal experience in UI/UX and product design, I spent a year at Joey doing just that. I believe that good design lies right at the intersection of aesthetic and function. Just as I bring a personal connection to my design, I aim to establish a relationship between the user and their product.
